Civil Air Patrol is an organization of volunteers who provide emergency service to the community during disasters and unusual occurrences that pose a threat to life and property. We also sponsor a cadet function for the youth of the community to teach them aerospace education, moral leadership, and civic responsibility.

We undertook a project of huge proportion, when we committed to constructing a community disaster center that would accommodate emergency services, search and rescue, and Aerospace Education for the youth in Big Bear Valley. To assist in seeing this project to completion, civic-minded businesses and municipal organizations have come forward as major supporters to assist us in our mission.
