LOCAL CIVIL AIR PATROL SQUADRON OFFERS SCRIP CARDS

BIG BEAR LAKE, CA – Bear Valley Composite Squadron 6750, the local Civil Air Patrol unit, is offering Scrip cards that can be used at several stores, including Stater Bros., K-Mart, Denny’s, Starbucks and Home Depot. A list of over 100 other stores is available on request. The Scrip, which resembles credit or debit cards, is sold in various denominations and is used like cash.  The squadron receives a percentage of the sales from the merchant, which will be used towards the new headquarters building under construction at the Big Bear airport.  To purchase the Scrip, call 584-9622 and it will be delivered to your door.

     In addition to the Scrip, the squadron is also offering a VISA card with  0% promotional interest.  The squadron will receive a fee upon activation of each card, and a percentage of all purchases from the merchant when the card is used.  Applications for the VISA cards can be obtained from any squadron member or by calling 584-9622.
